Information regarding our school's pupil attainment for EYFS, Year 1 Phonics, and End of Key Stage 1 for 2024.
We are incredibly proud of all of our pupils and their individual achievements at the end of the academic School Year 2024! The attainment of our Year 2 pupils reflect that the outcomes have overall been very impressive in all subject areas. In Reading, Writing, Maths and Science the children achieved exceptionally well. It was a very successful year, and our standards and attainment showed outstanding outcomes.
At the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage 71% of 110 Year R pupils achieved a Good Level of Development in 2024. The Good Level of Development is above the Luton and National average in 2024. This outcome places William Austin Infant School 3rd out of the 39 Local Authority (LA) schools in Luton in 2024.
At the end of Year 1, 79% of the 120 Year 1 pupils achieved the required standard for the Phonics Screening Check.
All of our pupils have performed extremely well and we are very pleased with all of their achievements at the end of the academic school year 2024. This has been a collective effort from all our pupils, staff, parents and governors.
We continue to improve the education, teaching and learning and outcomes for our pupils in order for them to be the best that they can be.
