Butterflies

Butterflies in Year R

In Year R we have watching caterpillars turn into butterflies. They started in our class as caterpillars, they ate lots of food and the turned into a cocoon. We have then seen them come out of the cocoons as butterflies. We really enjoyed setting them free into the wild. We have really enjoyed watching the different stages of the lifecycle of a butterfly.
