Pupil Attainment
Information regarding our school's pupil attainment for EYFS, Year 1 Phonics, and End of Key Stage 1 for 2025.
We are incredibly proud of all of our pupils and their individual achievements at the end of the academic School Year 2025! The attainment of our Year 2 pupils reflect that the outcomes have overall been very impressive in all subject areas. In Reading, Writing, Maths and Science the children achieved exceptionally well. In Reading and Science our children achieved 85%. In Writing and Maths our children achieved 77%. It was a very successful year, and our standards and attainment showed outstanding outcomes.
At the end of the Early Years Foundation Stage 67% of 105 Year R pupils achieved a Good Level of Development in 2025. The Good Level of Development is above the Luton average and almost in line with National average in 2025.
At the end of Year 1, 91% of the Year 1 pupils achieved the required standard for the Phonics Screening Check. This is an outstanding achievement by our children and makes William Austin Infant School the top performing school as we came 1st out of the 39 schools in Luton.
All of our pupils have performed extremely well and we are very pleased with all of their achievements at the end of the academic school year 2025. This has been a collective effort from all our pupils, staff, parents and governors.
We continue to improve the education, teaching and learning and outcomes for our pupils in order for them to be the best that they can be.
