Toys from the Past Workshop
Year R had great fun when a member of staff from Wardown Museum came into school to lead a workshop on Toys from the Past. We looked at the different materials toys are made from and then had the opportunity to play with different toys from different times. We played with toys from over 100 years ago!!! We had to be careful and we made sure we looked after them. We found toys from long ago were mostly made from wood and metal and a lot of toys now are made from plastic. The toys in the past were not as much fun as the toys we have now.
