My Values Story Competition

#MyValuesStory Competition.

Thank you to all of our children and families who took part in the #MyValuesStory competition. We had hundreds of fantastic stories to choose from so it was really hard for the judges to decide who the winners were. This competition was for schools all over the country, not just in Luton so we are thrilled to announce that within our age category we had a 1st prize winner, 3 finalists and 3 runners up! Wow! J

1st prize goes to Musa from Pine class. A big well done to him!

His story was judged by Integrity Coaching Founder, Viv Grant who wrote;

‘Here is a simple gentleness and depth to Musa’s story. His story captures on a number of different levels what true friendship is about. As he describes how a child who is in a wheel chair is befriended by another, he also subtly illustrates the values on which firm friendships are built; kindness, understanding and respect.

Well done Musa for producing this lovely little tale, with a big message!’

Our finalists were Zaina from Owl class and Mariam and Nazihah both from Puffin class. Runners up were Isha from Owl class, Malikah from Lark class and Zaynab from Maple class. A huge well done to all of them for their wonderful stories also.

Each child received a special certificate and a badge. Musa also won a values tree which he can keep at home as well as one for our school which will be proudly displayed in our school reception area.

As a school we are really proud of all of the children who took part and are  incredibly happy that we had so many winners.

Thank you once again for everyone’s support with Values Education in our school! We couldn’t do it without everyone working together!
