'Phil' the bag
William Austin Infants School ran a fundraising recycling campaign in partnership with experts at ‘Phil’ the Bag.' Phil' the Bag Scheme helps demonstrate to the children the significance of textile recycling and re-using on both a local and global scale and provides valuable clothing for people in developing countries.
Children and staff at William Austin Infant school collected all types of unwanted textiles and clothes.
These textiles are then sold on and distributed to people who can use and enjoy them in developing countries, which at the same time saves our environment from the burden of further resources going to landfill.
