Diwali 2023
To help share the festival of Diwali, all year groups took part in special activities and lessons as well as enjoying a themed school dinner on Friday 10th November. The children in Year 2 thought about the story of Rama and Sita and how light triumphs over darkness, they also designed their own Rangoli patterns. Year 1 children enjoyed listening to the story of Rama and Sita and then created their own 3D diva lamps using card and paper. The children in Year R used videos and stories to explore how families get ready for, and celebrate Diwali. They then enjoyed creating lots of different firework pictures.
We hope that all families who celebrated had a bright and joyful Diwali.
