Friendship Week

Friendship week

A big thank you to all the parents who attended the Parent Friendship Workshop on Monday 12 November. Feedback highlighted that parents were aware of the difference between bullying and one off/unkind silly behaviour. All classes in our school took part in friendship activities throughout the week to promote ‘choosing respect’. Children were made aware of what to do and who they can speak to if they feel like someone is being unkind.

Friendship Club

During Friendship week children from Year R, 1 and 2 attended a lunchtime Friendship club. Children took part in a range of activities such as making Friendship tokens to be used in class and Friendship hats to remind others of how they are a good friend. Children also made Friendship bracelets for other children. During the last club session children had a challenge to work together in teams to make balloon and paper towers that stood up. The children had great fun!
