Year R Australia Day
Year R had lots of fun learning about the country Australia with an Australia Day. We moved around each class to learn about different aspects of the country. In one class we learnt about the animals found in Australia, in another class we learnt about the flag and traditions of the country, in another class we learnt about famous buildings and landmarks and in the last class e learnt about the weather and what clothes people wear in Australia. We made lots of different things linked to the different topics and we even made fairy bread. It was a great day and we learnt lots!!
