Fruit bowls
Year 1 Fruit Bowls
Year 1 have been learning about plants. They have learned about the different parts of a plant and the different types of plants they can find around them. In DT the children used this knowledge to plan a bowl in the shape of a fruit. They thought about what materials they would need and used tools to shape clay into their chosen fruit. The children then painted the bowls to look like their fruit designs. As you can see the children worked really hard to make their bowls and had a lot of fun doing it.
