Year R Diwali Activities

 

In Year R we learn about all religions and celebrations with Diwali being celebrated on Saturday 14th November Year R have been learning about the celebration and the meaning behind it. Unfortunately we were not able to have parents in to help us celebrate like previous years but the children enjoyed creative activities linked to the celebration of Diwali. They had lots of fun making flower garlands, decorating diva lamps and designing their own Mehndi patterns.
