Roald Dahl visit 2023
Year 2 had a wonderful trip to The Roald Dahl Children’s Gallery in Aylesbury. We really enjoyed the people in the Gallery acting out some parts of his stories like ‘The Twits’. We had lots of opportunities to explore some of our favourite stories such as Mr Fox’s tunnel, James and the Giant Peach, Matilda’s library and the BFG. We had fun exploring shadows, sound, minibeasts and we also explored how the green screen worked and made an appearance on TV! Some of us travelled in Charlie’s glass elevator and we all got to participate in some drama activities like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
