We provide a range of after-school clubs for children in Year 1 and 2. Throughout the year children have the opportunity to attend a range of sporting clubs such as Cricket, Football, Multi-Sports, Tennis, Gymnastics and Games. Many of our sports clubs are provided by qualified sports coaches. We also provide more curriculum-based clubs like Art and Craft, Music, Pencil Fun, Bug Club Reading, Computing, Story and Board Games Club.
Teachers and support staff within the school are keen to volunteer their time and expertise to provide clubs for our children.
We charge a set amount per club to cover the cost of resources, as many of the clubs provide things for children to take home. This also contributes towards the cost of qualified sports coaches.
The children find after-school clubs to be a very positive experience and gain a huge amount from them. Children gain confidence, make new friends, develop new interests and have the opportunity to work with different adults and children.
