Visit from Sarah Owen, MP for Luton North

Visit from Sarah Owen, MP for Luton North

On Friday 1 July Sarah Owen, the MP for Luton North, visited our school and met with the school's MPPs to discuss her role as a Member of Parliament and inspire our own members of the William Austin Infant School Pupil Parliament in their role.

Sarah was given a tour of our school by the MPPs who were keen to show her the areas of our school they are particularly proud of!

The children then sat with Sarah and asked lots of interesting questions, and Sarah encouraged and advised them on how to best represent their class in the school's Pupil Parliament. Sarah was very engaging, and the children responded well and were really enthusiastic about her visit.

Sarah has requested to come back and visit our MPPs and our school again soon, and we are looking forward to working closely with her in the future.

Thank you for coming to see us Sarah!
