At William Austin Infant School we like to bring learning to life by working outside the classroom and experiencing our learning in real life situations. We visit our local environment and travel further on coaches to visit museums and interesting places. The children learn so much from these experiences. Often these visits are used within other areas of the curriculum like writing a recount in English or creating a map of our journey in Geography.
We invite experts into school to work with the children in workshops to share their specialist knowledge and resources. The children really enjoy these sessions.
