Inspirational Leaders

Year 2 welcomed two special visitors to school this week. We have been learning about inspirational leaders in our families and in our community. We focused in on Christianity and Islam. We read stories from the Bible about Jesus and then from the Quran about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). We prepared some questions for a Christian and Muslim leader in our community. They very kindly came in and answered our questions and we learned lots about how they help and take care of others. We left feeling very inspired!
