Chinese New Year Dance workshop

Chinese New Year.

At William Austin Infant School it is important to us that we recognise and celebrate all cultures, festivals and celebrations. Diversity is what makes us special and brings people together. Year 1 and 2 children recently enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year with a special dance workshop. Our children learnt the dragon dance and used colourful props such as parasols and a magnificent dragon itself to bring their routine together.
