Storytelling Assembly
Back in February 2025 our school took part in National Storytelling Week. We had lots of fun using our imagination, exploring and creating poems and stories about magical worlds. As part of the celebrations there was a chance to enter a national competition to have children’s writing read by an Amazon employee or get published in a national anthology.
We were delighted that six year 2 children were chosen and are now published authors. Well done Musa, Aneesa, Jemimah, Alayna, Daiyan and Usman. We are very proud of you! We celebrated with the whole year group and with their parents. Lots of children also received feedback from an Amazon employee. Keep up the great work Year 2!
