Houses of Parliament Visit
On the 2nd April the Members of Pupil Parliament visited the Houses of Parliament in London. The children saw some incredible sights on the coach such as Buckingham Palace and Hyde Park. The children had a tour of the Houses of Parliament and saw the House of Lords and their red chairs. The children then took part in a workshop where they had to discuss laws such as 'children have to eat vegetables every day.' The children enjoyed voting and cheering when their side won the vote and grumbling if they lost. The children had a memorable experience and many of them said that they would like to be an MP and help to make Luton a great place to live.
