Dear Parents/ Carers
Welcome to Year 2! The children are settling well into their new classes and adjusting to their new routines. They have enjoyed catching up with friends especially during exciting active playtimes!
The children have already started their topic ‘People who made a difference - Nurses’. Thank you for all the effort families made on Monday 8 September, we had a wonderful WOW morning and the children looked the part when learning about healthcare professionals in our community. Children learned about medicine safety, first aid for minor burns, spotting potential dangers in a home setting and even pretending to be surgeons using wool and card to practise their running stitches, cross stitches and even some back stitches!
